Family photos have a way of telling their own story. Each family comes to a shoot with energy and character that is uniquely their own and I love trying to capture that essence. Family shoots also come with challenges; some 2 year olds are amazing to work with while others are like photographing a tornado. I don’t mind that. Kids just have different attention spans and young little minds. I’ve purposefully included images in this portfolio that are real and raw. My clients always end up loving those imperfect ones and the comments are always “That is so us!” So wether it’s composed and beautiful or wild and raw, it’s still a success.
